Band/Wire/Water Jet/Laser Cutting

The use of advanced band and wire saws or laser and jet cutting machines enable EGS to cut overdimensioned materials. We can also offer customers the benefit of cutting technology that is especially material-saving for use in the case of semi-finished wafer products.

Grinding/Polishing

Express Glass Services can grind and polish the planar surfaces of any glass substrates. Special equipment also enables us to process long, thin “rods” of the type frequently used in machine construction.

Machining/Drilling

Our 5-axis CNC machining center permits three-dimensional processing of glass blanks, which creates many different new possibilities for processing glass. The use of 5-axis grinding result in enormous time savings, for example, in the case of lens production. We can produce virtually any desired shape with our precision CNC machines with very short lead times.
