Docter Optics Express Glass Services supplies the international optical industry, research institutes, companies, laboratories and universities with semi-finished products and prototypes for optical applications. These products can be supplied as prototypes or delivered in limited quantities. Available materials include optical glass, synthetic quartz glass, ceramic glass, borosilicate or filter glass, etc. EGS uses advanced equipment to process ingots, blocks, sheets, rods and bars.

EGS is an authorized Corning distributor. EGS maintains an extensive inventory of optical glasses from Schott and Ohara, filter glass from Schott, borosilicate glasses, B270, synthetic quartz glasses von j-fiber, Tosoh and Heraeus, natural quartz, glass ceramics (e.g., Zerodur from Schott, Clearceram from Ohara) as well as products from other manufacturers of specialty glass.
