Lens Arrays

Depending on the size, specifications and number required, lens arrays are produced using either the DOC3D^® process or the DOCFast^® process. The individual lenses of the arrays can be produced either with identical surface geometries or with different geometries. Possible designs include biconvex, plano-convex, biconcave and plano-concave surfaces as well as meniscuses and free-forms. Arrays can be produced with any basic shape (round/triangular/rectangular/polygonal). As a rule, arrays measure from 10 × .10 to 120 × 120mm. Doctan^® and Doctan^® SG2, two high-quality types of optical glass especially developed by Docter Optics, can be used with either process.
