Docter Optics occupies a position of international leadership in the development of molding technology for the production of components of optical glass. For example, the DOC3D® process patented by Docter Optics is used to produce aspheres and free-form lenses for projection headlights in large numbers with optical surfaces that require no cost-intensive grinding or polishing.
One of the priority goals of our development activities is to offer even more complex optical geometries produced to tolerances that do not require any post-production grinding or polishing. Docter Optics builds on a unique combination of resources and technology in the areas of optical design, mold making and process engineering.
