- Docter Optics ships the world’s first free-form projection lenses for full-LED headlights to equip a production SUV, the Cadillac Escalade Platinum, and introduces the Stilar 2.8/8 super-wide-angle lens especially for 1.2" sensor chips.

- Worldwide first free-form lens system for automotive LED projection headlights developed by Docter Optics.

- Docter Optics presents the world's first production models of LED projection lenses made of optical glass at the SAE World Congress Exhibition in Detroit, MI, USA.

- Docter Optics launches DOC3D® to introduce a new dimension in two-sided molding of optical lenses and establishes a new production facility in the Czech Republic.
