CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY FOR EFFICIENCY
Molding technology:
Various technologies are used to produce aspheric lenses. The DOC2D process, which involves grinding and polishing the planar side of the lens, makes it possible to obtain extremely precise surfaces even in the case of lenses with very large diameters. The DOC3D process is a very complex operation carried out under clean room conditions that is used to produce aspheres in maximum quality that are ready for immediate use. This permits economical production of all conceivable surface structures from aspheric to sophisticated free-form geometries.
Mold making:
Molds are produced entirely in our own shops. This guarantees quick availability and means that Docter Optics can react to changes in customer's requirements on short notice.
Measurement technology:
Docter Optics has all equipment required for dimensional (optical and tactile) and photometric inspection of aspheres.
