Automobile and headlight designers make a distinction between daytime and nighttime designs. In order to make the daytime design of projection headlights even more attractive, Docter Optics offers a series of coatings that add interesting color effects to lenses when the headlights are off.
Docter Optics IR coated lenses meet a technical need that is becoming increasingly important. They protect the plastic covers of the headlights from the IR radiation of the light source, which makes it possible to reduce installation depth. IR coatings can be combined with color coatings without any problem.
